This site sets no cookies: no analytics accounts, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting scripts, no consent banners because there is nothing to consent to. Pages are flat HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

What this site does—and deliberately does not do.
Written to describe the site as actually built, not as a legal shield. If the setup ever changes, this page changes with it.
Browser-local only
The free tools save your inputs and saved states in your browser’s local storage so they survive a reload. That data lives on your device, is never sent anywhere, and can be wiped with the tools’ reset controls or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
The installable road book
If you install the site as a web app, your browser caches the core pages on your device so they open without signal. That cache is standard browser storage under your control—remove the app or clear site data to delete it.
Served through Cloudflare
The site is hosted and proxied on Cloudflare’s network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data—such as IP address and user agent—transiently to deliver pages and protect against attacks. We do not run Cloudflare features that set visitor cookies.
Nothing to sell
- No accounts and no hidden data capture—the only personal data we ever receive is an email address you choose to send us.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No advertising networks or sponsored placements.
02 / THIRD PARTIES + CRAWLERS
The connections named honestly.
A genuinely zero-third-party site would have no maps, no web fonts and no newsletter. This one has all three, so here is exactly what each means.
Maps and fonts
The interactive maps are embedded Google Maps frames, and the typefaces load from Google Fonts. When those load, your browser makes requests to Google, which receives standard request data and may set its own cookies inside the map frames. Those services are governed by Google’s policies, not ours.
Open channel
Search engines and AI crawlers are not blocked here—robots.txt allows them all. Public pages on this site may therefore appear in search results and be read by AI systems. Your calculator inputs are never part of that: they exist only in your browser.
Email you choose to send
Join the newsletter and your address is delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, the form backend this static site uses. It is used only to send Landship transmissions, is never sold or shared, and you can unsubscribe by replying to any email. Writing to [email protected] is ordinary email, handled by our mail provider.
Beyond the hull
Links marked ↗ leave this site for ferry operators, manufacturers, clubs and similar. Once you follow one, that organisation’s own privacy practices apply.
